Bettie M. Fraker, 94, of Davenport, IA, died Friday, March 24th, 2017 at her home. Services in celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, March 28th, at Weerts Funeral Home, Kimberly at Jersey Ridge Road, Davenport. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to K9 Kindness Rescue, Inc.

Mrs. Fraker was born in 1922 to Clifford and Marie Dell. She married Loren L. Fraker on June 3, 1945 in St. Joseph, Michigan. He preceded her in death September 17, 1989. She was the office manager for Fraker Window and Siding from 1955 until her retirement in 1987. She had previously worked on the line for Miles Laboratory, Elkhart, Indiana and at the Indiana Steel War Plant, Valparaiso, Indiana.

She was a member of Iowa-Illinois Business Assn., Quad City Music Students Etude Club, Quad City Music Students Club, National Assn of Women in Construction Chapter #50 of which she was an honorary member; Putnam Museum Guild, Ladies of the Elks, Women of the Moose, Plus 60 Club, CASI, and AARP. She also enjoyed working in her beautiful yard and riding her John Deere tractor, nature, animals, her dog Katie, music, traveling, word puzzles, cards and board games, rain and thunderstorms, gospel music, time with her family and especially her Savior Jesus.

Survivors include her daughter Debbie Fraker of Davenport; and grandsons Christopher Hurst and Mark Struve.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Loren.
