Johan A. “Mo” Muller, 69, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Genesis East, Davenport. Celebration of Life services will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, August 3rd, at Weerts Funeral Home, Kimberly at Jersey Ridge Road, Davenport. Visitation will be held from 4-7:00 pm Wed. at the funeral home with a Masonic service to follow. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Kaaba Temple or the Kaaba Transportation Fund.
Mo was born in 1948 in Djakarta, Indonesia to Franz and Elise Muller. During the Vietnam war he served with the U.S. Army MACV. He married Kathleen Wagner on December 19, 1971 in Wilton, IA. He was a stock clerk with the former Eagle Foods, then with security with Genesis Medical Center. For the 13 years prior to his retirement, he worked in security for St. Ambrose University. His memberships included the Early Morning Masonic Lodge of Bettendorf, of which he was past Worshipful Master, Kaaba Temple, of which he served as Chief Rabban and CSSA LOH, as 1st Lt. Commander.
Survivors include his wife Kathleen; daughter Rachel (Brad Muller) Clark of Rock Island; son Derek (Jill) Muller of Davenport; grandchildren Darien Muller, Jayden Muller, Evan Clark, Zoey Muller and Brinley Muller; and sister Ingrid Galusha of Weatherford, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Rosita Evers.
