Pauline Knackstedt-Wulf, 96, of Davenport, IA, passed away Sunday, October 1st, 2017 at the Kahl Home, Davenport. Services in celebration of her life will be held at 1 pm Thursday, October 5th at Weerts Funeral Home, Kimberly at Jersey Ridge Road, Davenport, where her family will greet friends from 12 noon until time of service. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Reverend Travis Fisher will officiate. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice or St. Mark Lutheran Church, Davenport.
Pauline Hope was born in 1921 in Maquoketa, Iowa to Guy and Gertrude Bowling. She married Daniel Knackstedt in 1940, who preceded her in death in 1980. She was employed by Iowana Dairy Farms for 15 years and then later Stewart Pharmacy. She enjoyed sewing, baking, cooking, gardening, playing cards, Jumers Casino, traveling, and especially time with her family, grandchildren and friends. In 1983, she married Wilbur Wulf in Davenport. He preceded her in death in 1999.
Survivors include her daughters Sandra (Robert) Garman, Donna (James J.) Ingram and Patti Adrian, all of Davenport; grandchildren Robert (Lori) Garman, Christopher (Lisa) Garman, Patrick (Valeri) Garman, Steven (Tiffini) Garman, Georgia Logan, Gregorie (Meredith) Hummel, and Stefanie (Curtis) Johnston; 15 great-grandchildren; and sister Nadine Lubben of Maquoketa, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, parents; her twin brother Paul, brothers Max, Kermit, Kenneth, Tolbert, James, Donald and Larry and her sister Maxine.
