After I acquired the funeral home a few years ago, my parents decided to move to the Quad Cities. Mom had previously retired from administration in a long term care facility back in Minnesota.
She has enjoyed assisting families here with family care following a funeral and is also licensed for Pre-Planning, holding a Life Insurance License in the state of Iowa.
In 2007, she earned her CSA, or "Certified Senior Advisor" designation .
Mom and Dad live in Bettendorf. They have four grandkids - our two, and my brother's two kids. Dad is always busy helping with projects around the funeral home - and Mom has been known to make some really good homemade treats for all of the staff here.
I'm blessed and grateful to have my parents right here with us. They have both done so much to help us - and the families we're honored to serve.
